THERE'S NO STOPPING KARTHAGO! NORTHERN GERMANY ON THE BRINK OF A ROCK'N'ROLL INVASION!

(September 7th, 2005) The two northern German cities of Hamburg and Bremen are preparing themselves for action!

On October 28th, Karthago will do the "Downtown Bluesclub" in Hamburg. On the following day, the "Meisenfrei" venue in Bremen will experience what we call quality music!

SOUND THE FREAKIN' ALARM! KARTHAGO SCORES HUGE WIN ON HOME SOIL!

(September 7th, 2005) The Yellow Street Fair in Berlin-Lichtenberg was an exciting event thanks to Karthago! The quintet delivered once more in front of several cameras brought along by the local TV station FAB. A 30-minute Karthago special will be aired on their frequency soon.

NO MERCY: KARTHAGO AT "BELLE EPOQUE"

(September 7th, 2005) Siegen was the place to be when Karthago hit the stage at the "Belle Epoque" venue. The audience included quite a few people who became die-hard fans 30 years ago!

In addition, the former Karthago member Frank Diez came along. The bass hero did two tours with our guys back then in the old days. Even he was stunned when Joey and the crew started kicking it!

During a Rolling Stones exhibition right before the gig, Joey and Tommy delivered some unplugged Stones songs.

NOBODY DOES IT BETTER! THE MAYOR OF BOHLSEN DECLARES STATE OF EXCITEMENT AFTER KARTHAGO GIG!

(June 19th, 2005) This time Karthago rocked an audience of well over 2,000 people at the annual Bohlsener Muehlenfest. Read my lips: Those who came along will not forget this sensational gig, which lasted late into a wonderful summer night. Joey and the crew came up with their hits as well as new compositions.

The Hamburg Blues Band and Alex Conti shared the stage with Karthago. They were brilliant too! Thanks, guys!

HOLY LIVING HELL! KARTHAGO ON DVD!

(May 30th, 2005) In late 2004, the KrautRockpalast festival was recorded and aired on German state television. Guess what: Karthago was part of it. It gets even better: That same festival is now available on DVD! Get it right now! You can buy it here.

The Krautrock Meeting DVD also contains great performances by Amon Düül II, Jane, Epitaph, Guru Guru as well as Birth Control! It's definitely a must-have!

KARTHAGO AND JANE BURN DOWN THREE VENUES IN NORTHERN GERMANY

(May 24th, 2005) This is what we call a proper Rock'N'Roll gig! The two legendary acts Karthago and Jane teamed up in order to raise some roofs in Hamburg, Worpswede and Hannover. In the latter northern German town, even a third band joined them: The local Rock masters Ramses.

The Karthago team thanks Jane and Ramses for these killer gigs. It was a lot of fun, guys!

Karthago delivered classic hits such as "We're Gonna Keep It Together" (which they did) as well as new compositions. At the Fabrik in Hamburg, Gef Harrison joined Joey Albrecht on stage for a great version of Jimi Hendrix' "Red House". This tune was part of a Hendrix-medley. Achim Schulze, who usually is the sound mixer for the Scorpions, made sure the PA-channels were tuned perfectly in Hannover.

Loads of die-hard Karthago-fans were part of the audience. Also music biz members came along, including the CEO of SPV Records, Manfred Schuetz. Fellow musicians such as Karsten Bohn danced the night away as well!

HOLY COW! KARTHAGO TO ROCK SEVERAL VENUES IN NORTHERN GERMANY

(March 13th, 2005) This is what spring should be like! Along with their also very gifted colleagues from the band Jane, Karthago will raise the roofs of three northern German venues. On May 19th, they will hit the stage at the "Capitol" in Hannover. The legendary "Fabrik" will host Karthago and Jane a day later, on May 20th. At Worpswede Music Hall, they will perform on May 21st. Rock'N'Roll!

KARTHAGO KICKS ASS IN SOUTHERN GERMANY

(January 14th, 2005) Karthago delivered a killer gig at the famous "Colos-Saal" in the town of Aschaffenburg. The stunning performance included a world premiere! Joey's composition "The Beauty Of Your Smile" was played for an audience for the first time ever. The crowd also loved classics such as "Like A Burning Fire", "String Rambler" and "We're Gonna Keep It Together". Even the former Karthago drummer Ringo Funk came along to join the party. This gig will be remembered as one of the most brilliant performances.

BREATHTAKING KARTHAGO GIG IN FORMER GERMAN CAPITAL!

(December 22nd, 2004) Karthago hit the stage at the "Harmonie" Club in Bonn yesterday night, fascinating an audience of 450 fans who danced the night away.

This unforgettable concert will be aired on German TV on January 3rd, 2005, between 01:00 and 04:00 p.m. (WDR Television). Tune in!

FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS! KARTHAGO TO ROCK ASCHAFFENBURG!

(November 15th, 2004) On January 13th, 2004, Karthago will hit the stage at the "Colos-Saal", one of the best music venues in southern Germany. The band will for sure raise the roof of that club!

The Karthago Revival which started in Bremen, Hamburg and Berlin a few weeks ago continues at the "Colos-Saal"!

KRAUTROCK-SENSATION ON TV! KARTHAGO JOINS THE "KRAUTROCK-Palace"!

(November 1st, 2004) The new year will start with a treat. Karthago will be part of the TV-special "KrautrockPalast". WDR-TV scheduled the airing on January 3rd, 2005 from 01:00 a.m. to 04:00 a.m.. 

This great show will be recorded from December 21st to 23rd at the "Harmonie" in Bonn. For now, there are still some tickets available. Hurry! 

Apart from Karthago, the following bands will be part of the show: Jane, Amon Düül II, Guru Guru, Birth Control and Epitaph.
